Types of access - Moderator

There are four different access points in OW Voices: Administrator, Moderator, Observer and Participant. Each access has different objectives and functions within the Community. Below, you can learn more about the Moderator's functions.  


Moderator 

The Moderator user has access to the second largest number of functionalities in the community, second only to Administrator access.  Your access to the community will be created by the study administrator. Learn more about the moderator's first access.  


The Moderator's role is to manage the Community, interact with participants and encourage participation. In addition, this user will be able to follow the progress and results of the study through the responses, as well as export the database and graphs. It is also possible to customize the community, create activities and manage participants.

 

 

It is important that this access is made available responsibly to those who have already had contact with the user training provided by the Ow Voices Support team.

Moderator menu

The Moderator's main tool is the “Moderator” menu located in the top right corner, next to the community notifications, with the following functionalities:


 


  • Customize: Customize the Community's visual identity and change the study's Terms and Policies 
  • Participant: Manage study participants

 

Activities

In the “Activities” menu, the Moderator can view a list of all the activities scheduled in the community, as well as create new activities. In each activity the Moderator can perform other functions such as creating and editing tasks, editing the activity settings, as well as deleting and copying activities. Forum

In the “Forum” menu, the Moderator can create posts, interact with participants by liking their replies or answering their comments. Learn more about the Discussion Forum.


 



Reports

In the “Reports” menu, the Administrator will be able to view the answers, media, graphs and transcripts for each activity and task, as well as export all this content using the filters. You can also use this menu to make comments and delete participants' answers. Learn more about exporting data.
